The labia, clitoris, bladder entrance, and vaginal opening all belong to the vulva, which is the outer portion of female genitalia. The internal tube that connects the uterus to the vulva is known as the vagina.
Itching may occur inside the vagina or surrounding the vulva. The reason will determine the precise symptoms and therapies. When utilising items that irritate the delicate skin around the genitalia, minor vulvar itching frequently occurs. These may consist of:
- menstrual pads

- scents found in douches or deodorants
- Once they cease taking these products, the person's itching will often disappear. Unscented and fragrance-free items are less likely to irritate people.
The use of products to clean the vagina is not advised by healthcare specialists. The vagina self-cleanse. Its capacity to self-clean can be hampered by douches and other vaginal cleaning solutions. Itching in this region can also be brought on by friction or chafing from undergarments, skin folds, or sexual activity.
