The habits we have define our lifestyle and health status. Technology has driven us to lead a robotic lifestyle, by spending the whole day in the work hustle without including any physical activities and healthy dietary habits.Here are 10 healthy habits that you can incorporate into your life to live a long and healthy life.

1. Staying active: Being active for at least 30 minutes a day keeps you healthy and energetic. 

2. Eating Healthy: It's important to understand what goes inside makes your body. If you eat healthy food you stay healthy.

3. Hydrating: Drinking enough water is essential. It is advised to drink 2 litres of water everyday. Eating your water is also important, eating hydrating fruits like watermelon, oranges keeps you hydrated and full.

4. Starting your day well: The start of the day can define your day. Start your day with a glass of water, a run/yoga/walk followed by a healthy breakfast.

5. Loving any sports: Sometimes staying active becomes difficult but if you have a favourite sport it becomes easy. 

6. Doing something for your mental health: Your mental health is as important as your physical health. We think a lot about our physical health but we often forget about mental health. In your day for at least 30 minutes do something that makes you happy. Following a hobby, meditating, calling your best friends, staying close to nature, going for lunch, having a cup of tea. Anything that comforts your stress and makes you feel fresh.

7. Meditation: Meditation is the best way to relax physically and mentally. You can do it after you get up or before you go to bed. 

8. Limiting screen time: Spending too much time on your phone can strain your eyes and can be bad for your mental health. Limiting your screen time can give you some extra time to meditate or exercise.

9. Fixing your Sleep schedule: Sleep helps your body recharge and repair. Having 7 hours of sleep is essential. Having quality sleep adds to the health benefits.

10. Reading: Having proper knowledge is very important. It makes you responsible and helps you examine your habits. It can also have a positive impact on your mental health.
