How to strengthen my hair?

Almost every day, your hair takes a hammering. It all relies on how you care for it, style it, and keep it looking good. However, nearly no one is immune to damage, particularly when it comes to the roots.

Weakening the roots can cause hair thinning or even hair loss over time. Weak hair can also be an indication of an underlying medical illness in some circumstances, so focus on how your hair looks and feels.

It's fairly unusual to have hair loss throughout the day. The average individual loses up to 150 strands of hair every day. We rarely notice since new hair grows quickly in its place. However, if you have weak roots, you may begin to lose more hair than your body can restore.

When you focus on the roots, the rest of your hair will respond with a healthy, lustrous appearance that will endure. It all starts with recognising potential weakening elements.

Cold temperatures, hormonal changes (pregnancy), poor food, heat from styling equipment, too much time in the sun, medications, and certain hair products are some of the most prevalent causes of damaged roots and hair.

Here are some simple strategies to strengthen your hair roots:

  • Consume More Iron: Healthy hair begins with a nutritious, well-balanced diet. Even if you consume the appropriate foods, you should still make sure you receive enough iron.
  • Reduce Chemical Use: Hair that has been over-processed can be harmful in a variety of ways. If you colour or bleach your hair often, it may become weak from the roots.
  • Increase Zinc Consumption: Zinc contains two properties that help to produce strong, healthy hair. First, it links proteins together, increasing the strength of each strand of hair. Second, it aids in the creation of certain oils required to preserve existing hair.
  • Reduce the Temperature: Using heated styling tools can damage your hair from the root to the tip. It is also a good idea to use a heat protectant spray before utilising these instruments.
  • Take Your Vitamins: A diet high in vitamins A, B, C, and E is essential for hair health and strength. Vitamin C aids in the absorption of iron by the roots. Vitamin A is required for the production of sebum, the natural oil produced by your hair that keeps it bright and strong. Vitamin E helps to protect and strengthen the roots.
  • Don't Panic: Stress can be a major contributor to a variety of health problems. This covers your hair's general health.Stress can not only create dry scalp, but it can also weaken your hair. Stress and worry can disrupt your body's normal hormonal equilibrium.
  • Avoid Hot Water: If you like an extremely hot shower, you might want to reconsider the temperature the next time you take one. While mild water is gentle on the hair, hot water may be quite damaging to the follicles.
