5 Salads that change the craving game

  1. Paneer, broccoli, and baby corn salad: chop baby corn, broccoli, and onion. Dice paneer and saute all of them in olive oil. All of these mixed together are a great source of calcium and can help both the mom and the child to strengthen their bones and hair. Adding a tadka with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and peanuts is also a great option.
  2. Carrot, cucumber, and Rajma salad: cut carrots, cucumbers, and onions in long juliennes. Boil rajma till they are soft enough to be smashed using a spoon. Mix all the raw veggies and boiled rajma together to make a tasty mix. Dress with honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spinach and apple salad: blanch spinach leaves and keep them aside in ice-cold water for them to remain crunchy. Dice green and red apples into small cubes. Prepare a dressing with hung curd, salt, pepper, sugar, some vinegar, and paprika. Toss the spinach and apples in the prepared sauce and your salad is good to go.
  4. Sprouted moong salad: soak moong in a bowl of water overnight. You will find sprouted moong beans the next morning. Finely chop tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and coriander. In a bowl, mix sprouted moong beans, chopped veggies, salt, sugar and some lemon juice. Your easy and healthy salad looks just fine!
  5. Avocado and bell pepper salad: chop avocados, bell pepper of choice, cucumbers, tomatoes and baby corn in thin slices. In another bowl, add honey, lemon juice, chopped mint, salt, pepper, and mix till combined. Add all the veggies to the prepared dressing and toss. This salad works great for healthy hair and nails.

These were all the recipes one can find to satisfy their pregnancy cravings. Eating healthy and on time is one of the most important aspects during pregnancy and salads are easy and quick to make which ticks all the boxes!
