This story goes back 3 years in time when my mom was diagnosed with Thyroid. Not only was she dealing with thyroid but her immunity was shutting down on her weakening her more and more day by day. The sudden drop in the WBC count not only made her fall prey to dengue but her Haemoglobin also saw a dip one day after the other. When i think about this time in her life , the only thing that shadows my brain is how much the doc had told us to focus on her nutrition and diet plan. It was her food intake that i promise was the reason for her betterment, and the main food of them all? Chia! Not only did it help her recover but it also made sure that her immunity stayed intact for the next few months until she had a complete hold of her body.
