Whenever you try to conceive, people will surround you with lots of myths and suggestions and you will get hundreds of random advice on how to get pregnant easily. Here are some tips that can help you if you are trying to get pregnant!
1.Trying for at least 12 months:
Whenever you try to conceive you should know the basics. Now there is a fact that people find surprising is that, even if a man and women are healthy and they have unprotected sex the chance of getting pregnant is just 20-25% and this is normal. So whenever you try to conceive you need 6-12 months of unprotected sex and that too in your fertility window to be able to conceive.
2. It's not really about sexual positions:
A lot of people think that sexual position defines your chances of getting pregnant. Well that is a myth . It neither affects your chances of getting pregnant nor does it decide the sex of the baby. Also lying down after sex or putting a pillow under your hip doesn't contribute to your chances of getting pregnant. The sperm knows its way to find the egg.
3.Find your fertility window :
Having sex multiple times the same day doesn't really make a difference. Finding your fertility window and having an intercourse during this period is important for conceiving. During your fertility window , you can have sex every alternative day or everyday.
4. Orgasms are great but not essential for a pregnancy : Having an orgasm is great, but doesn't really help in pregnancy.
5. Lubes: If you use lubes during intercourse they should be sperm and pregnancy-friendly.
6. Preparing your body: Prepping your body for pregnancy is very important.
How to prepare ?
- Have a healthy diet.
- Include fresh vegetables, fruits and sprouts.
- Maintaining optimum weight is important, as being overweight can cause difficulty.
- Decrease caffeine intake.
- Say no to smoking, it's a non-negotiable rule.
- Be active, and exercise as this can help you maintain your weight.
But remember moderation is the key.

- Intake of Folic acid: It's important as deficiency of Folic acid can cause defects in the baby.
- Intake of Vitamin D is also advised by doctors.

7. Reduce stress: It is seen that most of the time stress is the major reason for pregnancy issues . Sometimes the stress of conceiving impacts negatively. So try reducing stress. Doing something you like can help reduce stress.
The process of conceiving was never supposed to be this difficult. This happens due to lifestyle changes, processed foods, no physical activity, lots of stress and age delays.
