Tracking ovulation can be hard but did you know that your body too, gives you some signs that you are ovulating. You just need to have a careful look at these signs.
Here are some signs that your body shows:
1. Subtle change in basal body temperature: During ovulation, your basal body temperature might fluctuate and can go up by 0.5-1.0 °F
2. Cervix change: During Ovulation your cervix might feel higher, wetter and more open.
3. Breast Tenderness: Yes, it's common, you are not alone. Cyclic breast tenderness with some soreness in your nipples can be also seen as a sign of ovulation.
4. Mucus: Our mucus keeps us updated about our cycle and it also helps to track ovulation. During ovulation the mucus quantity increases and it can become more clear and of slippery consistency.
5. Sensitive to sense: You seem to be sensitive to certain smells/scents. Fascinating right?
6. Fluctuation in appetite and mood: The level of your hormones are changing so it's natural to have mood swings, you may feel happy one time or find yourself crying the next minute. You might also notice an increase in appetite during ovulation.
7. Bloating: Don't worry you haven't gained weight. It's just fluid retention that makes you feel bloated. Bloating can also be a sign of PMS.
8. Cramps: You might suffer from light cramps during ovulation.
10. High sex drive: Ovulation is equivalent to high sex drive. So next time you feel high libido, blame it on your ovulation period.
Tracking your ovulation is very important especially if you are trying to get pregnant. But remember that these are just a few physical symptoms, and they don't always mean that you are ovulating.
