We have a skincare regime for our face , a routine for hair care and workouts for our bodies. But there is a part of our body that often gets the least attention. Yes,the breasts. 

Your breast isn’t asking for much, but ignorance can lead to certain health issues. So, it’s better to avoid the certain things for a better breast health :-

Wearing a wrong size bra :

It may be tempting to wear a bra of a smaller size, to make the breast look perkier . But it's not worth it girls. wearing a small sized bra can be really uncomfortable and this can lead to skin irritation and obstruction of blood flow. Similarly wearing a larger size bra can cause your breast to bounce and cause friction which can lead to chafing and irritation of nipples.

Nipple piercing:

Don’t consider nipple piercing as the normal ear piercing. Yes it's trending but it can be too risky . Nipple piercing cuts through the sensitive skin of areola and it can cause infection in your nipples.This can sometimes also lead to bleeding, scarring and serious infectious diseases.

We love the way cardio works on our bodies. If you are a cardio fan you know the rush it brings in. But Doing cardio without a bra can damage your breast tissue. So, wear sports bras that are comfortable and those that support your breasts from bouncing during workout. 

Waxing your breast:

Given that your breast is a very delicate organ and waxing can be harsh for your breast. It can lead to redness and skin irritation that might lead to severe inflammation.

Your breast skin is thinner, hence requires more hydration and not enough moisture can make your breast dry and can cause skin irritation and discomfort. Keep yourself hydrated and if your breast gets really dry moisturise your breast with  specific creams that comprises SPF.

A little cyclic breast pain and tenderness around the menstrual cycle can be normal. But if you find anything unusual, like any lump , discharge or continuous pain, remember that it’s always better to see a doctor. The breast is like any other organ. Let's normalise talking about breast health.
