The real reasons for your hair fall

We all wonder how did Rapunzel have such lovely hair? Well we might need to ask her to answer this question , but here we can help you understand the causes of your hair fall, and the real reasons behind it.

1. Nutritional deficiency: If you are on a diet or crash dieting then that will result in a nutritional deficiency. So, your hair growth is dependent on all the nutrients you are feeding your body. At least 50% of the women in India have iron deficiency. That means they suffer from iron deficiency that could result in tiredness, easily getting fatigued, breathlessness and many other symptoms but one other thing that can also happen is hair fall. So, getting all the vitamins checked by a doctor is something which is recommended.

You can also add foods like spinach, beetroot, broccoli, tofu, shellfish, oyster, liver, meat, pumpkin seed, apple, banana, and pomegranate to your diet to combat nutritional deficiency.

Note: Do not consume any of these things if you are allergic or have any medical condition.

2. Genetic: If you have a genetic predisposition to getting hair falling like maybe your father has a balding pattern or your mother has diffused hair fall for a long time or any of your first-degree family relatives are suffering from any of these issues. It has to be diagnosed by a dermatologist. Usually, serums like minoxidil of varying concentrations and growth peptide serums are needed.

3. Tight hairstyle: Wearing your hairstyle tight can lead to hair fall. Tight pony, tight braids which are pulling your hair from the hair roots. So that can result in traction alopecia. So try to tie your hair loose.

4. Hormonal: Hormonal imbalance inside your body can also result in hair fall. PCOS can be one of the reasons. It can be a hormonal imbalance in terms of thyroid. Getting it checked and evaluated by a doctor is very important.

5. Stress: When we stress a lot, our body releases a hormone called cortisol which pushes our hair, which is in the growing phase into the falling phase. Hair has a cycle of its own so stop stressing. Try out some yoga, and breathing exercises.

6. Messed up sleep cycle: Your hair could be falling if you're not sleeping in time or you are not sleeping enough. So quality and quantity are both very important.
